Leeds Castle

Live Status & Taxi Transfers

Leeds Castle is a structurally complex heritage site in Kent, established on twin limestone islands within a 15-acre lake created by the River Len. While the site originated as a 9th-century Saxon stronghold, the extant architecture is primarily a 19th-century Tudor-style reconstruction of a medieval royal palace. The 500-acre estate functions as a multi-sector tourism hub, featuring the world’s only museum dedicated to historical dog collars and an extensive yew maze with a central shell grotto. It serves as a permanent venue for international summits and outdoor symphonies, maintained by a charitable foundation to preserve its Grade I listed masonry and surrounding parkland.
